Bluehost Ssl Wordpress

  • Your website works so I’m thinking your web host (GoDaddy? I think) might be blocking Cloudflare by IP address. Probably accidentally!

Ask them for help and GoDaddy usually offers CPanel or an inhouse control panel… Ask them about that, too.

Since you don’t need https on your origin server you can probably just put the site back onto Cloudflare, without the plugin even, to get things working again. Then put the plugin back and fix the SSL on the origin side.

To my way of thinking that’s the best answer unless your host can’t keep pace with Cloudflare…

Unfortunately when you purchased GoDaddy’s managed WordPress plan you also agreed to the limitations of having such a plan. If you want to use free components (e.g. free SSL) and 3rd party integrations (e.g. Cloudflare CDN) you will have to CHANGE hosting plans. Managed plans have service levels and the way hosting companies implement them is by enforcing limitations on what can be used in their environment.

If you want a solid and reputable hosting company go to Bluehost or Siteground – https://wordpress.org/hosting/
